2 Years in Office: Hon Adeyemi Alli gives account of quality representation, enumerates laudable achievements

As feedback to his people and in celebration of a successful two years in office, a Nigerian Lawmaker, Hon. Alli Adeyemi Taofeeq, who represents Mushin Federal Constituency 1, has enumerated his achievements so far.While expressing gratitude to his constituents, the lawmaker said the celebration aimed at reiterating his total commitment to quality representation and good services to the entire residents of Mushin 1 and beyond.He stated that as an active member of the House of Representatives, he had successfully moved many motions and sponsored a number of bills to promote significant growth and development not only within his constituency, but also across the nation.While enumerating several laudable projects executed, the lawmaker stated that one of his achievements in the area of youth initiative was the entrepreneurial training themed “Strategic Training for Artisans”.

“The initiative was second to none in the history of Mushin Federal Constituency 1. Not only that, I launched the Feeding the Elderly initiative and Economic support for traders and artisans,” Alli said.He also mentioned the distribution of emergency relief packages to the elderly and vulnerable within the constituency.

Part of his constituency projects, which was themed “Educational Outreach Projects” was the distribution of free UTME, and an orientation programme organised for JAMB candidates in Mushin Federal Constituency 1.”Another significant educational project I executed was the procurement of free school buses to ease movements of students to school and back home.”Other projects included construction and equipment of ICT centres at Ilupeju Junior Grammar School and Ilupeju Senior Secondary School, distribution of free note books, distribution of free school bags and exercise books to students,” he said.

The lawmaker added that he organised strategic training sessions for Theater practitioner within the Constituency.He said, “During the COVID-19 pandemic, I distributed food stimulus packages in phases to cushion the effect of the pandemic.””I can’t see my people suffering and look away without reaching out to them. Giving them quality representation is my covenant with my creator.

“I have pledged to represent them well and facilitate developments,” he concluded.He therefore appreciated his people, party members and leaders for their true-blue support for his administration.

“I must sincerely appreciate the good people of this constituency. I want to assure that many laudable projects are in the pipeline. I am in the House because of you,” he said.
