Mutiu Olawuyi is also the CEO of Muslim Media Corporation and the Editor-in-Chief of Parkchester Times, Africa Parrot and Muslim Parrot newspapers (Print and Online) based in New York, USA. He, popularly called the Jungle Poet, is an international award-winning poet –  2013 World Poetry Empowered Poet Awardee,Canada, Honorary Professor of International Art Academy, Volos Greece; World Poetry Cultural Ambassador (2014) – Vancouver – Canada; and Master of Literary Innovation (2019) – World Poetry Conference, Bathinda Punjab, India . He is the producer and host of ArtFlakes on CBA TV, the Voice of East Africa.  He has authored numerous books of poetry (Among them are American Literary Legends and Other Poems [2010], Thoughts from the Jungle [2012], 9/11 Poetry [2012], and The Journey to the Archangels [2013]) and has edited numerous international anthologies, journals and magazines. Mutiu is a teacher, English language and literature curriculum developer, freelance writer/editor, literary critic and inventor of a new form of poetry called 9eleven (a poem of 9 lines written with 11 syllables) and the first writer of a story without verb – The Blotted Pawpaw (published 2013 by Bharat College in India). He is also an editor for The Criterion International Journal in English based in India. Mutiu has some of his poems, short stories and research papers published  in online and offline journals and magazines in India, Gambia, Ireland, England, Canada, Greece, Nigeria and USA. Finally, some of his works have been translated to Arabic, French, Esperantos, Malayalam, Telugu and Hungarian.

Dustin Pickering is a member of the editorial board of the Literary Corner of New York Parrot. He is also founder of Transcendent Zero Press and founding editor of Harbinger Asylum. He is a Pushcart nominee, finalist in Adelaide Literary Journal’s short fiction contest in 2018, and recipient of a jury award in Friendswood Library’s Ekphrastic contest in 2020. He is also received and honorable mention from The Friends of Guido Gozzano in 2020. He is former contributor to Huffington Post. He is a poet, reviewer, essayist, and philosopher with several published books. He lives in Houston, Texas.

Prof. Wang Ping is a member of the editorial board of the Literary Corner of New York Parrot. She teaches creative writing as Professor of English at Macalester College. She was born in Shanghai and came to USA in 1986. She is the recipient of National Endowment for the Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, New York State Council of the Arts, Minnesota State Arts Board, the Bush Artist Fellowship, Lannan Foundation Fellowship, Vermont Studio Center Fellowship, and the McKnight Artist Fellowship. She received her Distinct Immigrant Award in 2014, and Venezuela International Poet of Honor in 2015. Ping is the founder and director of the Kinship of Rivers project, an international project that builds kinship among the people who live along the Mississippi, Yangtze, Ganges and Amazons Rivers through exchanging gifts of art, poetry, stories, music, dance and food. She paddles along the Yangtze and Mississippi River and its tributaries, giving poetry and art workshops along the river communities, making thousands of flags as gifts and peace ambassadors between the Mississippi and the Yangtze Rivers.

Dr. Sutanuka Ghosh Roy is a member of the editorial board of the Literary Corner of New York Parrot. She is Assistant Professor English in Tarakeswar Degree College, The University of Burdwan, WB, India. She is currently engaged in active research and her areas of interest include Eighteenth-Century Literature, Indian English Literature, Postcolonial Literature, Australian Studies, Dalit Literature, Gender Studies, etc. She has published widely and presented papers at National and International Seminars. She is a regular contributor to research articles and papers to anthologies, national and international journals of repute like Muse India, Setu, Lapiz Lazuli, The Statesman, Life and Legends, Borderless Journal. She has guest-edited the July 2020 Issue of SETU on Children’s Literature.  The title of her forthcoming book is A Critical Inquiry: Text, Context, And Perspectives. She is also a reviewer, a poet, and a critic.

Akeem Alao, a freelance journalist and edupreneur, is a Senior Correspondent/Associate Editor at New York Parrot. He is also an Assistant Editor at Parkchester Times and Muslim Community Report. He teaches English Studies at secondary school level. He works as an Editor at Edugist, a blog that reports on educational events.
