na cidade morta,

à cruz da indiferença,

desaguam sonhos em crematórios líquidos.

a loucura decretada passeia

desejos naufragados,

em passadiços comuns.

na cidade morta,

a fome, à sede, invade hospícios.

fantasmas brincam às crianças

e velhos emborcam infâncias.

emigraram os abraços.

já não há pontes para atravessar a noite.

há vendas neste rio,

dor neste navio.

Caronte fuma um cigarro na vala principal.

simplesmente apagão.

simplesmente silêncio.

somente sepulcro

na cidade morta.

e eu?

e tu?

e nós?

in the dead city,

to the cross of indifference,

flow dreams into liquid crematoriums.

the madness decreed ride

shipwrecked desires,

on common walkways.

in the dead city,

hunger, thirst, invades hospices.

ghosts play at children

and old people get childhood.

emigrated the hugs.

there are no bridges to cross the night.

there are sales in this river,

pain on this ship.

Charon smokes a cigarette in the main ditch.

simply blackout.

simply silence.

only tomb

in the dead city.

and me?

and you?

and we?
